Renowned artist Brian Taylor died aged 77 in 2013 leaving a rich legacy of bronze sculpture in his near derelict workshop. Working with his wife Michele Franklin, herself an accomplished painter, our brief was to resurrect Brian’s work and make it fit for public display.
To be presented at its very best, sculpture in particular often requires bases or plinths to be made for very specific locations and uses. Artful have the in-house skills to make these in a wide variety of materials and finishes which, where necessary, are designed to meet the exacting Health and Safety Standards required for safe display in public places.
Australian artist Dr Irene Barberis is based in Melbourne and London. As a painter, installation, and new media artist she has held over sixty solo exhibitions. Her works and public art are held in multiple collections in Australia and internationally. In 2017 she bought her major new project ‘The Tapestry of Light’ to the UK and asked Artful Logistics to assist with the installation.
